Lindeblad Triples

Action folded around to Luke McLean in the cutoff and he put in a raise. The button folded while the player in the small blind shipped his entire stack. Lindeblad was extremely short and had half his chips in from the big blind, so he made the call. McLean thought long and hard before making the call and putting both his opponents at risk.

McLean: {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}
Lindeblad: {8-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}
Small Blind: {A-Hearts}{2-Hearts}

"Come on, one time for daddy," Lindeblad requested. Once again, asked an ye shall receive as the flop came down {Q-Spades}{8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}. While Lindeblad was primed to triple, there was still a sizable side pot on the line. The {9-Spades} was of no consequence, but the {2-Clubs} hit the river to keep the small blind alive with the side pot and deliver a blow to McLean.
