Aussie Millions Main Event

Speidel Speeding Over Six Figures

Oliver Speidel has already made two final tables at the 2012 Aussie Millions, first in the $1,100 Shootout event and then in the $1,650 bounty event. Speidel will be looking to continue that great form here in the Main Event and so far he has made a good start.

A recent hand saw Speidel open the action to 2,600 from the under the gun. No player on the table wanted to rumble except for the big blind who flicked in the call.

The big blind player checked in the dark as the {k-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} flop was dealt. Speidel then continued his betting, throwing out 3,100. A {K-Spades} hit the turn and this time Speidel's opponent led for 2,500. Speidel smelt something fishy and raised it up to 9,000. His opponent thought for only a moment before sending his cards into the muck and giving the pot to Speidel.
