Krstanoski Doubles Through Nelson

Mile Krstanoski

With the board of {K-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{4-Spades}{2-Clubs} in the middle, Mile Krstanoski moved all in for 437,000 against 2006 Aussie Millions Main Event champion Lee Nelson. A few long minutes were spent in the tank by Nelson before he finally committed the chips to make the call. Here's what was revealed.

Nelson: {Q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
Krstanoski: {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}

Both players had no pair, but were drawing. Nelson was open-ended and had the queen-high flush draw. Krstanoski had his flush draw pipped with his hand and a draw to Broadway as well. At the time the money went in, Krstanoski held the best of it with his ace high.

The dealer burned one last time and then dealt the {4-Clubs} on the river. It was a club and gave Krstanoski the winning hand with an ace-high flush. He doubled to around 1.5 million. Nelson dropped back under 900,000.
