€25,000 High Roller

Badecker Leads Into Day 2 with 45 Remaining

Patrik Antonius sits in fourth place on the leader board

Welcome back to PokerNews' coverage of the PokerStars and Monte-Carlo® Casino EPT Grand Final €25,000 High Roller. Yesterday was a spectacular Day 1 with 133 entries creating from 117 players and 16 re-entries. First place is over a €1 million and leading the remaining 45 players is Andrew Badecker with 350,000 in chips.

Today is going to be extremely exciting as the pressure will be on everyone left in the field. Not only will the money bubble break today when the field gets down to 14 players, but the overall goal of reaching the final table must be met. However long that takes, we'll be here to get the job done.

With superstars like Patrik Antonius, Phil Ivey, Daniel Negreanu, Chris Moorman, Mike "Timex" McDonald and Viktor "Isildur1" Blom still in the field, the chips are surely going to fly. Be sure to stay tuned for the action as play is scheduled to kick off at noon local time here in Monaco.
